HireLedger / by RunRetained

Your client asked how you use AI in hiring.
Draft the answer from your actual workflow.

For staffing and RPO teams. Record which tool does what, who reviews it, what supports each statement, and what still needs an owner. Export a draft packet for agency review. Free, in your browser.

Start with what you know.
Unknowns can stay blank.

Anything you cannot answer stays open with an owner. Keep candidate records and confidential documents in your existing systems.

  • The client’s question. A non-confidential paraphrase is fine.
  • The tool and its specific feature. What it does, and where a person reviews, changes, or rejects its output.
  • Where the supporting record lives. A reference to a vendor document, SOP, or interview note—not the file.
  • Who owns anything still unknown. A role is enough to start.

The working method

One question.
One workflow.
A draft for review.

  1. 01

    Paste the question.

The client’s question or the request you need to answer, and what prompted it.

  2. 02

    Map the workflow behind it.

Tool, feature, hiring stage, and its effect on candidates.

  3. 03

Record what you can say today.

For AI use, human review, records, and candidate communication: the statement, its basis, and an owner.

  4. 04

    Review the draft and export.

An answer built from your recorded statements, open items with owners, and an agency sign-off block.

What the packet contains

What you download.

Your next step: give the draft to your agency’s reviewer. They check each answer against the question and the source records before approving external use.

Draft · agency review required

  1. The client’s question and topic-matched draft answer
  2. Each statement labeled by its basis
  3. Your source references, dates, and owners
  4. Open items and the person responsible for each
  5. A scope note and blank agency review block

Download Markdown for editing, or use Print / save PDF for the formatted packet. HireLedger keeps the export marked DRAFT.

What does HireLedger not do?

It does not inspect documents, interpret your questionnaire with AI, verify a source, decide whether a law applies, or score or certify anything. Every draft is marked for agency review.

Where does my draft go?

The builder saves to this browser on this device. RunRetained does not receive it. Download a backup to keep a copy or move devices. Use client aliases and source references; keep candidate records and sensitive documents in your existing systems.

Does HireLedger determine legal coverage?

No. It gathers workflow and location facts for a qualified reviewer. It does not decide whether a law applies, verify the contents of a source, or certify a hiring process. Agency statements and open questions are marked explicitly.

Is the $299/month option available?

It is an optional service experiment for pilot customers with a recurring need: up to five active client workspaces, maintained records, open-item reviews, and two hours of monthly support. Scope and terms are agreed separately. The free builder does not include shared accounts, automated monitoring, or a hosted document vault.

What should I bring to a pilot conversation?

The type of request, its deadline, who owns the response, and which hiring tools are involved. A redacted questionnaire can follow after confidentiality and data-handling terms are agreed. You do not need to share a client list or candidate records in the request form.
