How your information is handled.

Evidence builder

The free builder stores your draft and saved revisions in local browser storage on the device you use. It does not send that content to RunRetained or an AI model. Other people with access to the same browser profile may be able to access it. Browser storage is not an encrypted document vault.

Use aliases for clients and references to source documents. Do not enter candidate personal information, sensitive employment records, credentials, or confidential document contents. Source files remain in your existing systems; the builder does not upload or inspect them.

Backups and deletion

Backups and packet exports are downloaded to your device. You control where they are kept and who receives them. Clearing site data for runretained.com removes the browser draft and revision history. The “Start a blank request” action replaces the current draft and history. Download a backup first if you need to retain a copy. Clearing local data does not delete files you previously downloaded.

Pilot inquiries

The pilot request form sends the details you enter—name, work email, agency, role, segment, request type, deadline, and situation—to Jason’s RunRetained inbox using Resend, the site’s email delivery provider. It does not attach the evidence builder draft. RunRetained uses these details to respond to and scope your inquiry. Sending a request does not create an engagement or subscription.

Product usage measurements

HireLedger records basic actions such as opening the builder, recording a statement, and requesting an export. These use a temporary per-tab identifier and elapsed time, plus fixed choices such as request type or topic. They never include your question, draft text, source references, owner names, or inquiry details. Events go to RunRetained’s Vercel function logs; there is no advertising tracker. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable these events.

Site operation and service work

Vercel hosts this website and may process technical request data needed to operate it. HireLedger adds no advertising trackers. Confidentiality, access, source-document handling, retention, and any use of AI-assisted drafting during a paid service are agreed separately before materials are collected.
